Task Group Meeting 5 (TGM-5)

During 15–16 December 2025, Task Group Meeting 5 took place, the final meeting within ConvEx-3 (2025) – Large Scale Emergency Response Exercise, organized by Romania under the auspices of the IAEA.

The event, held in a hybrid format, brought together IAEA experts, international organizations, participating and neighboring states, as well as national institutions involved in radiological and nuclear emergency preparedness and response.

The meeting agenda included:

• the evaluation of the exercise preparation and conduct;
• the national and international evaluation methodology;
• the conclusions and recommendations presented by participating national institutions, international organizations, and international bodies;
• the analysis of conclusions and recommendations for the final exercise report.

The meeting contributed to strengthening international cooperation and to the exchange of best practices in the field.
