CNCAN ensures the optimal conduct of all nuclear activities on the territory of Romania, contributing to the protection of the population, professionally exposed personnel, patients, and, last but not least, the surrounding environment from the risks associated with the conduct of nuclear activities.
CNCAN contributes to the prevention of risks that are inadequate for national security, the fulfillment of international obligations assumed by Romania in this field, as well as the transmission of information to ensure transparency in communication.
