The 2025 edition of the Risk Communication Training Course (RCTC), organized by the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA–OECD), brought together 50 professionals from the fields of communication and nuclear energy.
The first day of the course took place at the University Politehnica of Bucharest, while the second day was hosted by the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest.
Days 3 and 4 continued at CIPRIERN, featuring applied sessions and practical exercises, and Day 5 included a technical visit to the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant, offering direct insight into emergency preparedness and response.
The program addressed key topics such as:
- developing proactive communication strategies;
- increasing public trust;
- managing misinformation;
- stakeholder engagement.
