Dositracker, Măgurele.
CIPRIERN organized a technical visit to the Dositracker dosimetry laboratory. The visit was attended by CNCAN representatives and Gordon Asartenga Ajubala and Lennox Assan – experts from the Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
The programme included technical presentations and a guided tour of the laboratory.
The visit provided practical insight into:
- The measurement of radiation exposure;
- The operation of a specialized dosimetry laboratory;
- The application of international radiological protection standards.
Main objectives:
- Gaining an applied understanding of dosimetry processes;
- Becoming familiar with the equipment and workflows of a specialized laboratory.
