IFIN-HH, Măgurele.
CIPRIERN organized a technical visit to IFIN-HH at the Nuclear Forensics Laboratory (NFL-RO) within the Department of Nuclear Physics. The visit was attended by representatives of CNCAN and experts Gordon Asartenga Ajubala and Lennox Assan from the Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
The program included an overview of nuclear forensics in Romania.
The visit provided practical insight into:
- Handling criminal cases involving nuclear or radioactive materials;
- Methods for analyzing samples used in nuclear forensic investigations.
Main objectives:
- Learning techniques in applied nuclear forensics.
