The CNCAN team, together with colleagues from IFIN-HH, had the honor of participating in an event of special importance for Romania – the consecration of the Cathedral of the Salvation of the Nation in Bucharest.
The event, of profound spiritual and national significance, brought together officials, representatives of the clergy, and numerous guests, requiring close interinstitutional cooperation to ensure its safe and fully professional conduct.
Our involvement in public protection and safety
As part of the undertaken actions, the CNCAN team, in collaboration with the romanian county police, was responsible for conducting security screening at the entrance for invited guests to the church and its courtyard, as well as for radiological monitoring of the access routes. Our specialists continuously supervised the area, monitoring any activity that could have appeared suspicious from a radiological perspective, in order to guarantee a high level of protection and public safety.
